I started this blog for people who wish to express their concerns, frustrations or comments on the City of Sparta, WI. This is not a site to discuss rumors or personal matters. If a blogger does post rumors they will be deleted and the blogger will be removed.Feel free to express yourself under comments without fear of being targeted by police or city officials. KEN WITT'S HIGH SCHOOL PICTURE FROM ANONYMOUS
I found a high school picture of Ken Witt. He hasn't change a bit.
Quite honestly, I'm sick of this entire situation. None of these people are doing the City of Sparta any good, including whoever thought this blog would be a good idea. Let this shit go once and for all. You're just exacerbating the problem.
Quite honestly,I'm sick of people like you who just dont want to cause any waves and they are just happy with "what is" until it happens to you. And then you cry like a little bitch, but it is too late. Because of people like you, Sparta will never change. I would rather have one Angelini who does something than thousands just like you
Considering you don't know who I am, what I stand for or how involved I might be in the everyday activities of this City, you are rather bold in stating that I'm happy with 'what is' and that Sparta will never change because of people like me, OR that I will 'cry like a little bitch'. But I suppose, you're entitled to your opinion. I agree that there are issues that should be addressed however, I'm not confident that constant public discord, name calling, spying and law suits are productive methods of accomplishing anything. This is supposed to be a 'safe' place to post concerns or viewpoints. Am I to assume that only means it's safe provided whomever posts is in agreement with the blogger? It sure seems that way.
One thing I dont understand is why in hell does Mayor Sund have intention of appointing Gary Ascher to another 5 year term on the Police and Fire Commission when EVERYONE knows Mr. Ascher is incapable of this appointment. He has done nothing while on the Police and Fire Commission, why would you reappoint him? If the city council has to approve the mayoral appointments I sure hope they realize that this is an important decision and they need to quit giving themselves more of a bad reputation and step up to the plate and have some pride knowing that the people they are choosing for these committees aren't afraid of doing a quality job. If they do approve appointments and they chose to reappoint Mr. Ascher, they should be held responsible for lack of leadership with the mayor.
I don't understand any of this. How is trash talking and name calling supposed to help our town ? All this has done is split our town right down the middle to Tony haters and Ken/Gary haters. How does that help us resolve anything?
Okay...so where have you been for the last ten years? You finally have someone who stands up to some of the wrongdoings in this town and now you are wondering why? You are the kind of person who likes to sweep the dirt under the rug. Just because you can't see it doesn't mean your house isn't dirty. Sooner or later, that dirt will be seen, so why not do it sooner.
I said nothing about Tony being wrong or Ken or Gary being wrong now did I? ALL I said was the name calling and trash talking does not help the situation. I did not say anyone was to blame. I love people like you who take the words I wrote and turn it into something like me wanting to sweep the dirt under the rug. AGAIN let me remind you I was only talking about the trash talking I said nothing about the issues of this town and not wanting to resolve them
If Tony Angelini wants to impress me and gain a vote for Mayor, he should start discussing options for turning the city around, besides his obvious distaste for those who currently hold offices. Maybe some positive, forward thinking plans? Where does he stand on other issues???
This is not a campaigning blog. I am sure that time will come, but only Tony knows for sure. I believe it says right under this blogs title something about a place for people to express frustrations, concerns or comments. Maybe if you want to know what Tonys intentions are, you should go and talk to him.
