FROM ANONYMOUS

I see a few things that need to be cleaned up in Sparta and it's NOT the police or City Hall. There are a few loud mouths in town that spread lies and unfortunately people actually believe them. Even the local paper puts their dribble in print .... every week it seems.

  1. HAVE YOU READ THE LAST TWO WEEKS NEWSPAPERS? YOU WILL SEE WHERE THE CORRUPTION IS AT...POLICE DEPT AND CITY HALL

  2. When is the next Fire and Police commission meeting? I think interested person should attend and possibly some informational, peaceful picketing prior to the start of the meeting. We need to ask what are the consequences for Sgt Pippen? As taxpayers it is our right to know if his actions are being investigated.

  4. I believe that the Sparta police should leave business owners and hard working people alone and work on the ever increasing drug problem in this area. Haven't we lost enough young people? If the police department had betterk social skills, there may be more willingness from the public to offer information.

  5. With the recent hit list at the high school, I believe people, families and parents need to take this very seriously. Why did this young man feel he needed to do this? The people that should be reprimanded are those that were doing the bullying. There is a reason he felt this way. Bullying seems to be commonplace and almost seems excused. Where do these kids get off thinking they are better than others ? It's pretty sad. Does everyone just turn their head to this?
